ART: Realistic or as Alteration or Distorted

Realistic art is art that takes as its subject real objects, scenes, events, people and situations that exist in the world , and attempts to render them mostly as they actually are to our visual scene, as well as to our emotions and mind.Examples of realistic are paintings of people,animals, landscapes, battles, furniture, fruit and other animate and inanimate objects pretty much to look like themselves.

Art as Alteration and Distorted art for was a product of a very imaginative and vey expressing mind.Figure 1.1 is an example of an Art as Alteration and Distorted Art in Figure 1.2.

Among the three Realistic Art is what I like most. Not only because it is easy to understand but also I easily catch or imagine the artist emotion while painting the masterpiece. I envy those painters who is really amazing in sketching. Sometimes  

Creating Impromptu Art!!! YEHEY! :)

:D GOOD DAY!!!

In my Course we a subject HISTORY OF ARTS and in this subject we are required to draw..I just want to share to you my experience in creating an impromptu art or freehand art. As you all know drawing is my hobby since my childhood. I draw things that I like and also sometimes I express my thoughts,opinions and feelings in the form of drawing.So after I find out that we will be having a two subject that is related to art/drawing I feel excited. I know in myself that sometimes I'm a silent and emotional person and maybe that is the reason why I love drawing. When I am just thinking of doing art  I feel excited; while doing it I know in myself that I enjoy doing it; and after I feel relieved and proud because it is the fruit of my hard work.

*Last Thursday in our History of Arts class we go out to join/be the audience in the school program.But we are not just watching, we are also making an impromptu art. The program is like a Sport-fest with signing contest. We are asked to draw the things/happening the we see there. I decided to draw the stage with the LPU representative singing. I decided to draw that because I was impress by there song, when the are signing I felt like my heart was touched, by the way the sang "Hanggang Ngayon" by Regine  and Ogie.*

Baroque Art: The Most Influential Art

Baroque Art Era the most influential period of art for me. Baroque Art can be in painting, sculpture and architecture and its style depends on the place it originated. The art's objective is to engaged the audience or viewer on a spiritual level capturing a sense of excellence. When it comes to painting and sculpture the art looks like a moving to become more realistic and dramatic to add more "feelings". The secret to this art is the shadows , light manipulation/lighting  and contrast. Ceiling Frescoes were a popular painting style during this era. using large surface areas helped to create the dramatic awe inspiring characteristics of the Baroque style.Many of the techniques used in Baroque painting carried on from the "Renaissance", using ideas such as chiaroscuro(lights and shadows) and linear perspective. In sculpture, it were also used in Architectural structures to adding another element of grandeur and making a more visually appealing structure.In Architecture, most of the Baroque art architecture are used in Church and Palace.

The Baroque Art was first seen in Italy then pass to Spain,Germany, France, Netherlands and Austria. Most of the Baroque art is a product of the Catholic art movement. The Baroque Art was in the 1500 to 1700s by the critics.The Baroque Art was also a product of the "Renaissance period" as I have said in the second paragraph. The Baroque was divided in three it is Counter-Reformation( 1565-1610 A.D), Realism( 1610-1640 A.D) and the Absolution (1700-1750 A.D). Some Baroque Artist was Peter Paul Rubens(painter) , Caravaggio(Painter, Sculptor, Architect), Rembrandt(Painter) , Gian Lorenzo Bernini(Sculptor, Architect), Anthony van Dyck(Painter) and Francois Mansart(Architect). Their work have one of this image are direct, obvious and dramatic. Depictions feel physically and psychologically real it can be describe as Emotionally Intense. Looking the a Baroque artist you will that they are like trying you to draw you to participate in the scene.

 The most famous Bernini contributed most in this era. He was son of Pietro an Italian sculptor. He was a child prodigy much like Michelangelo. He enjoyed immense popularity and networked with the powerful elite of Europe, contributing important works of architecture and sculpture, especially fot the Church.Pope Urban VIII hired him at age 26 to craft the Baldachhino (16247-1633), a 95-foot high canopy decorating  the main altar of the St. Peter's Basilica. The BAROQUE period offers deep perceptual experiences though vivid realism and symbolism.From Bernini's diagonals to the soaring churches of Europe and the New World, Baroque challenges the idea that this period is best described as Early Modern.

Who is the Woman in the Mona Lisa?

 Who is the woman in “Mona Lisa”? Why is she smiling, or what’s with her smile? Is it really a person or just an imagination by Leonardo? These are some questions you will mostly hear when talking about Mona Lisa. Join me and let’s discover the secrets of this majestic piece of art. 

Mona Lisa

Mona Lisa is greatest and most famous painting in world. It was painted by the genius Leonardo da Vinci 500years before this present time. It was between 1503 or 1506 to be precise .He is always carrying it for the last 13 years of his life. But the question is who is the woman holding the beautiful smile? According to my research, Lisa del Giocondo, wife of Francisco del Giocondo a wealthy merchant, is the woman in the painting. She was a member of the Gherardini family of Florence and Tuscany. The painting is thought to have been commissioned for their new home and to celebrate the birth of their second son, Andrea. Her pose markedly upright with her arms folded. Her eyes/focus is on the observer with warm welcome in her eyes.  Leonardo use new technique in the Mona Lisa for his object to look alive he didn’t draw outline.

Others said that there is other person referred in the painting. Today the consensus of art historians is that the painting depicts Lisa del Gioncondo, which has always been the traditional view.  The title was believed to be from ma donna means my lady then became Mona. Lady Lisa in other word.  The reason why Leonardo paint her is because of Francisco her husband. Leonardo used a pyramid design to place the woman simply and calmly in the space of the painting. The painting originally has eyebrows and good quality but time passed by and it disappear gradually. The Mona Lisa has a vast landscape background of an icy mountain and land. He also use aerial perspective on making it, also he is one of those first painters to use this perspective. It was believed that Leonardo was influenced by the Chinese Paintings.

            FYI! Did you know that the Mona Lisa was once stolen and believe to be lost forever. They thought that it is with the photographers for marketing purposes. Then Beroud affroached the heads of security and it was confirmed that the painting was not with the photographers. The Louvre where it was display for five years was closed for an entire week for investigation. By that dark days it was believe that the painting will not be seen again. It was two years later when the true thief was discover.  Louvre employee:Vincenzo Peruggia had stolen it by entering the building during regular hours, hiding in a broom closet and walking out with it hidden under his coat after the museum had closed. He is an Italian patriot who believes that the painting must be in Italy and be displayed in an Italian museum. He was caught when he got impatient and tried to sell it to Uffizi Gallery. During World War II, the painting was again removed from the Louvre and taken safely, first to Château d'Amboise, then to the Loc-Dieu Abbey and Château de Chambord, then finally to the Ingres Museum in Montauban.

WEEK TEN:Things to do to enhance creativity

Creativity refers to the invention or origination of any new thing (a product, solution, artwork, literary work, joke, etc.) that has value. "New" may refer to the individual creator or the society or domain within which novelty occurs. "Valuable", similarly, may be defined in a variety of ways.

Some people have plenty of this in their body and some have less. If your one of those unfortunate person who have less creativity don't worry because Creativity can be enhance.  I have some tips for you. First, Have Self-Motivation. You can't think well if your not motivated or not interested and if you can't think there is a big chance that your creativeness will not work. Second, Be an EXPERT on that field obviously you are an expert on your field that will be easy for you to be creative. If your an expert then all you need is to explore more on your field. Third, Don't be afraid to take the risk. Creativity always have the risk to take you will not learn if you don't try. Forth and Last RECORD ALL OF YOUR IDEA. We are human sometimes forgot something. For you not to forgot your precious idea from creativeness I suggest that you record or take note of that. Sometimes we have an idea about something but because of some hindrances we can't afford to do it now so if you record it you will not forgot about that.

Creativity is essential in our life. Creativity is not only needed by artist, all of us need it.It is helpful in our daily life so we must practice and develop it. My mentor once said that in our life one don't need to be intelligent to survive all he need is to be creative in riding the waves of life.

In your own  blog you can talk and discuss about anything but remember BE RESPONSIBLE. With Blog you can now have voice in the society you can blog about issues you want, if you think you have idea or comment about it or you want to share your understanding about it you can put it there. BLOG is a free space for someone's thought. THERE's NO WRONG or RIGHT! You can link to other's blog, comment and suggest. Your blog will not be that famous at first. Please be patient. On blogging people will eventually  find your blog. 

On my experience in blogging first it was boring for me but in the end I found myself blogging and realized blogging is not boring but fun.I find it fun because here I can exercise my right to express my thought about a certain issues.  Right now I'm listing topic that I will blog in the next days. 

In this fast changing world it not the fittest that can survive its the person who can adapt to it. This is a new world its not impossible that the day will come that books and newspapers are replaced by the net and Blog sites,social-networking sites are the perfect. I suggest that right now study how to use it. There are many blog site you can use like blogger.com, twitter.com and tumblr.com  LEARN TO EXPLORE NEW THINGS!!! USE INTERNET FOR USEFUL THINGS!

WEEK EIGHT:NEW MEDIA

NEW MEDIA:
It's the most influential and powerful thing now.According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_media. "Most technologies described as "new media" are digital, often having characteristics of being manipulated, net workable, dense, compressible, and interactive."  This only proves that this Generation in is the NEW MEDIA ERA because the technologies nowadays is the thing that is described by the New Media. 
But my point in this blog is what is its effect on our daily life? Let let's mention some of its good effect ☺it makes  our communication faster ☺it enhance the general knowledge by providing us with information from all over the world ☺ you can be now connected to everybody anytime anywhere. ☺all information now is reachable ☺everybody now can enjoy their freedom of speech ☺everybody now can comment or have a suggestion or direct communication to the authority
Now let us look in its bad effects: ☺you are not sure if the information you see or hear is the truth ☺as the New Media improves new crimes also improves like cyber bullying, "sexting" and pirating ☺people nowadays became lazier and lazier.

It is true that New Media is a big break through in technology but using the new media you must be also responsible in your action.  As I mentioned earlier crimes also improves we the user of it sometimes just do what we want in using the new media because we think that it's our right to have freedom but I will tell you Freedom is not doing what you want it is doing the right thing. Sometimes we are not aware that we commit crimes. Many of us download anything under a copyright and if your one of the CONGRATULATION you are now a PIRATE!!! New Media is influential that it can easily spread a fake information and change the view of its reader.  NEW MEDIA is powerful so PLEASE USE IT RESPONSIBLY. 

WEEK SEVEN: RAIN:deadly or funny

I'm sure everyone of us has their own fun moments in the rain. I remember when I'm still a child , my mother will always chase me in the rain because I break her decision of not letting me play in the rain. Then after that when I'm caught I will taste the precious "kurot" in the side. I miss those days. My childhood RAINY DAYS   

are so fun unlike my Rainy Days today. Nowadays when it's raining I just:

If you would notice my whole day will just circulate with these hobbies.

When it's raining I always wish that I could play in the rain again with all my cousin just like in the past. I always wanted to feel the happiness of BONDING. It's been a long time when I last feel that. If only I have the power to travel time I will go back to the past where people are still industrious , teenagers are still moral , mother nature still calm and rainy days are still fun not deadly.

WEEK SIX: Internet:SUPER Pan-american HIGHWAY

Internet is also called SUPER HIGHWAY because like highway it has different routes and with every route you can go in the different places. I named this blog SUPER Pan-American HIGHWAY because according to http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_is_the_longest_continous_highway_in_the_world it is the longest highway in the world.  Also just like the highway the Internet is an easy way of connecting to your destination.
Last time I asked my classmates in high school what is the most important thing a computer must have. Majority of them say INTERNET(but for me its Electricity). What is so important about Internet? Let's talk about it.

Internet is a product of a curios and genius persons one of them is Vinton Gray "Vint" Cerf he is known for the Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol(TCP/IP). In short Internet is the cause of connection of billion users worldwide.

Internet is important to us because it make our lives easier. With the Internet we can communicate to others even we are from them, we can search for the meaning of something that we want to know and many more. Many impossible things are made possible by the Internet. It's true that Internet have many positive effects but it also have many negative effects especially for youths.
○The Internet cuts out the social interactions of our lives.
○The internet provide many "INSTANTS" that we became so dependent in it the effect we became lazy and non-social.
○The internet can easily distract us when we are in it. Just like me typing this blog, I spent more time in chatting and surfing than doing this.
 ○Many abuses happens in the internet THREE of THEM are, the most popular:
◘CYBERBULLYNG
◘SEXTING or SEX ABUSE
◘PIRACY

Many people abuse or use the INTERNET.Are you one of them? If yes then please let's stop doing this things. This may lead us to more Worst CASE like raping, corruption and killing. EVERY WORST SINS STARTS/EVOLVE from THE LITTLE SINS.
REMEMBER no one will change or dictate you in the case of internet so the change must start in yourself.

WEEK FIVE: My new family

Last JULY 19, 2012 we held our First General Assembly. The program is about the Official Organization for the Multi Media Students. We held a election for the position of President, Vice President, Treasurer, Asst. Treasurer, Secretary, Asst. Secretary and PRO. The freshmen are not allowed to be elected to other position other than the position of PRO. We elected the right person. The organization don't have its name yet but I think the higher year is processing it. After that, we have our "CLASS PICTURE" and "FAMILY PICTURE". For me it was fun and memorable because it my PICTURE. with my new FAMILY ^^, .After the family picture we went back to the Laboratory. There the higher year share some of there experience in our course. They gave us some advice and tip. I learn a lot from them.

I feel very relax and comfortable with my new family. I know that my Kuya and Ates are always there for us.      I know that we will make more fun memories. I will try to be more sociable to them. CAS is Fun but its more fun in the MMA ^^. hahaha  

MMA FAMILY we are the FAMILY ARTIST!!!!!! We are not moody! We are just artistic and EXPRESSIVE!!

WEEK FOUR: ASSEMBLE!

  Have you watched the movie 300? The 300 Spartans who fought hundred thousand soldier and manage to win? IMPOSSIBLE it seems right??? but TEAMWORK makes it all possible.

What is TEAMWORK?

                       Teamwork has been defined in the Merriam-Webster dictionary as "work done by several associates with each doing a part but all subordinating personal prominence to the efficiency of the whole."  That's for him but for me Teamwork is just helping each other to attain the specific goal. TEAMWORK is so POWERFUL , it can MOVE A MOUNTAIN with just a Snap(depending on how many member :D)! Teamwork can lead to better decisions, products, or services. Teamwork suggests that people work in an atmosphere of mutual support and trust, working together cohesively, with good inter-group relations. At teamwork your STRENGTH is valued. In a team there is no member that has no weaknesses and strengths. Sharing of strength to finish quickly and quality product is the core of TEAMWORK.

Is there disadvantage in TEAMWORK?
For me it's yes.There is a disadvantage in teamwork. Decrease of the Creativity is one, although good ideas may come out some ideas are only kept in mind because some members are afraid of sharing their thoughts. Teams Allow for Free Riding, this the most often and well known disadvantage of Teamwork. Some shameless member are just sitting for a free ride and wait for the result without contributing anything in the team. Conflict May Develop, this may occur every time and anytime in a teamwork the reason is where just human. We are not perfect we have weakness that is others' strength and sometimes we take that as arrogant. When we take it that way then "LET THE WAR BEGIN", we must accept that we are not perfect we are humans not God. 








NOTE: REMEMBER TEAMWORK is ALWAYS ADVANTAGEOUS when EVERYONE has become ONE.

WEEK THREE:Snap and POOF!

This generation is the generation of BLACK MAGIC. Black Magic because everything is just a snap of a finger. ALL IS INSTANT and THAT'S THANKS TO TECHNOLOGY! Technology has change the way of life of this generation. How has technology change the way of communication?

Early form of Communication

 It is true that technology has also change the way of communicating. I asked some elders in our house about the communication in their time they said that it was very hard for them because they will need to travel to town just to give it to the post office. Then, they will wait for one to three months to receive the reply. IMAGINE! But now thanks to this guys communication has been very easy.

Technology have change almost everything in this world even the way of communication. You'll just type plus enter=INSTANT MESSAGE. In this generation you can make friend with just a single click. Peoples talking to each other are keep reducing  and reducing .I'm afraid that in the next generation no one will speak and no one get out their house to socialize. If that happen that will be the BORING GENERATION.How can you have a colorful and meaningful life in your house?  Imagine this you will be staying at home the whole the in front of your computer chatting to the person you never met.

Many of us especially we the youths use the technology in a wrong way. We are so lazy, that every information is in the tip of our finger yet we still don't do it.  TECHNOLOGY is given to us for us to have a better life we must use it in the right way. DON'T ABUSE it.

WEEK TWO: WHY COMMUNICATE?

Communication is the process of sharing information or thoughts with others.It can be Verbal and Non Verbal.

Imagine a world without it .
It will be difficult,right?

Communication is VERY IMPORTANT! 

Without it , we maybe all are still guessing someones thought and that will  make us look silly and stupid. Without  it you can't even read this because this is meaningless. We can't get a feedback from others. There will be no understanding. The word FRIENDSHIP would not have meaning.

Communication let us to Friendship, Understanding and Enjoyment. 

For us to understand why COMMUNICATION is important, lets simplify.

 Let's calculate .WORLD-COMMUNICATION= BORING!

FRIENDSHIP-COMMUNICATION=what friendship?

LOVERS-COMMUNICATION= Break up

GOVERNMENT-COMMUNICATION= more corrupt 

HUMANS-COMMUNICATION= no understanding= no peace=war= !@#$%^&

HUMANS(COMMUNICATION)+GOD=enlightenment

But also remember we must use COMMUNICATION in right way.!

God gave us this IMPORTANT GIFT so we must use this and enhance it.

WEEK 1: The Beggining

Hi Guys! I'm Daryll A. Caponpon a freshmen student of LPU-Laguna.

My new journey has already begun and at first it was hard for me but after some days I . I already make some friends here and I will try to make more. I am in the College of Arts and Science Department because I'm an Multimedia Arts student. Others say that Multimedia Arts is boring and not that challenging . May be that's one of the biggest lie I ever heard. Multimedia Arts is interesting and challenging course. You will not survive here if you are a loner type of person. Here you must be  COOPERATIVE , CREATIVE , INDEPENDENT and INNOVATIVE.
 In this course, you will not only be good in using English but you will be more responsible, you will be cooperative but not dependent and you will know that Multimedia Arts is important. Animations, Movies, Shows and Designs these are MMA and without it , I bet many wouldn't survive.

We all from CAS gathered for our First General Assembly. We discuss the different policies at different part of the school especially the laboratory .   The requirements and policies when borrowing something. We also held our ELECTION of OFFICERS and REPRESENTATIVE. For me the orientation and election are successful because it was FUN! I know that this is JUST the Beginning of the Stairs to SUCCESS .
